My focus areas and professional experience
Started Learning Coding in Vocational High School
My journey in programming started during vocational high school, where I was first introduced to basic C++, HTML, CSS, and PHP. Through these fundamentals, I began learning programming logic, website structure, styling, and simple dynamic web development. This stage became my first foundation in understanding how software and websites are built.
Freelance Graphic Designer
After exploring programming, I also developed a strong interest in graphic design and worked as a freelance graphic designer for around one year. I focused on brand identity, logo design, poster design, and social media visuals. This experience helped me build strong creative thinking, visual communication, layout composition, color sense, and attention to detail.
Studying Informatics While Freelancing
During my freelance journey, I also continued my education by studying Informatics Engineering because of my growing interest in technology and the software development field. At this stage, I started combining my design background with technical learning, which helped me understand both user interface design and application development from a broader perspective.
Focused on Software Engineering
In my second semester, I began focusing more seriously on software engineering by learning modern frameworks and building personal projects. I started exploring full-stack web development, especially using Laravel, React, and Next.js. Through these projects, I learned more about frontend development, backend logic, routing, authentication, database integration, reusable components, and responsive web interfaces.
Exploring Mobile Development with Flutter
In my third semester, I expanded my learning path into mobile application development by exploring Flutter. I started learning how to build cross-platform mobile applications with responsive layouts, reusable widgets, navigation, and clean user interfaces. This helped me understand how mobile development differs from web development while still applying similar software engineering principles.
Continuous Learning and Community Growth
Currently, as a fourth-semester Informatics Engineering student, I continue to improve my skills through personal projects, bootcamps, and technology events. I actively develop my knowledge in full-stack web development, mobile development, UI implementation, and project-based learning. Recently, I also joined a Google Developer Group event to gain more practical insight, expand my network, and stay connected with the developer community.
